Function and application

The EWM-S-AA digital control board is a positioning controller designed for the precise stroke control of a hydraulic actuator equipped with an analogue position sensor (0–10 V or 4–20 mA). It is ideally suited for driving proportional and servo-proportional valves with integrated electronics in closed-loop systems . The module enables reliable and responsive control, with an output configurable via software in either voltage (±10 V) or current (4–20 mA) . Thanks to the integrated motion profile generator (SDD/NC) and advanced deadband compensation , the EWM-S-AA ensures accurate, stable and repeatable motion. The device includes an input for an external velocity command , making it suitable for applications that require dynamic profile control . All operational parameters can be easily set using the EWM SmartManager software, available for download on this page. Configuration is performed via the front-mounted USB port , allowing for fast commissioning, real-time diagnostics, and signal monitoring.
